Yes u r right. Phones like samsung, Xiomi all bundles so many apps that u can't uninstall and taking all permission like 24*7 location, 24*7 microphone, 24*7 camera. And when u try to diabale them they won't let u and more over those apps will say "these permissions are needed for the phone to work properly". And no one cares these things.

This is a lot easier to do and nobody seems to have a problem with this because it's not a "backdoor". And you are right about the monopoly thing. Huawei and China want market dominance because it gives them more control and power. Exactly like US tech companies.

2022-08-21 12:44:43 +0000 UTCIt is right that there is a 50-50 chance that a backdoor is present or not. I also cannot confirm on a individual level just being a everyday common user is that the claims on huawei backdoor is right or wrong. But there is a theroy about any chinese brand which may be a phone, network device, an app or anything - it might have some backdoors or some sort of spying stuff on us 24*7. It's just a theory only. But the main thing is that, monopoly. When one company controls everthing in the world, it become almost impossible to stop that compamy when they do any kind of unethical activity or just go against their own law/policy. And they will become our privacy & security nightmare. Like Facebook, Google. Blatently lying in a everyones face, even lied in the parliament and noboday is/was able to bend a single hair(whatever hair was bent, they made it straight again and they will keep doing it).
