Im looking forward to your thoughts on newest Lex Fridman podcast, with Chris Tarbell, "ex" FBI agent that cought the Dread Pirate Roberts. Plenty of material to think about. Dude didnt have a second thought about calling Snowden bad. Not surprising, but what surprised me was just the complete devotion to the negative aspect of it.

Full disclosure, I'm a mobile app developer. I totally agree. Apple is just trying to keep maximum control over their iPhone users. I've personally used both iOS and Android and the main difference is that Apple keeps the tightest grip possible over their users so that they can monetize access to those users. 30% cut and app discovery being controlled by them in the app store. And their PR is amazing because they sell people on the idea that it's for their own good.

This doesn’t shock me at all. I just always assumed all companies track you even if they say they don’t. If it’s not free and open source you don’t have a way to know.
