2023-06-11 19:02:08 +0000 UTCI agree, but I feel like Micay has been pretty stable with the project. There is no evidence the project suffered due to his mismanagement or leadership issues. He was a bad communicator, definitely. But development-wise, he was doing a good job.

2023-06-07 14:11:30 +0000 UTCTHO, I slightly disagree with you. The stability of the head of a project ultimately matters for the longevity of it. If the leader is unstable, as Daniel has shown at least publicly in how he reacts to people, then you start to worry about the longevity of the program. This is simply because (1) he might make poor judgment calls (not necessarily on the technical aspect, but certainly on the business aspect of running the project), or (2) how he treats members of the community or of the organization. By the way, this is not to say that you should have stopped using GOS. I do agree that the technical merit of the project cannot be based on Micay’s mental health problem, but the stability of it was the major issue, which seems like it has solved.
