I am pretty awkward when it comes to showing my thanks. I never thought my art would find any amount of success, especially nothing related to original content. After 10 years of being a freelance illustrator I just about gave up. I did actually! I gave up for a few years. I didn't draw a single squiggle. I chose to give up on my dreams of being an artist since my art wasn't making a penny and instead focused on funding my boxing gym by getting a few different jobs. One of which is my current job, a Flat Worker (I'm a concrete bitch). It's brutal, it's breaking my body every day and though I have my reasons for staying in this field, I continue to dream of being an artist. That's where you all come in.
Thank you. Thank you all for giving me a second chance to pursue my childhood dreams. Being able to create weird, fantastical things for a living has been a hope I've held within my heart since I was a little kid. Having this chance has also given me new life. My students and my gym have kept me motivated through the years but making a living being creative has never really been an option for me and seeing as the gym is FREE I need to be able to save every penny! Thanks to you, I am now able to create. I may still have my day job but now I not only have my students and my slowly growing gym but I have you and my art. Thanks to you, I have found that spark again.
I love you all with every facet of my heart and only hope to make you proud with all of my creations.
