Update 23/7/20 (with pictures)

It's been about a week, so a good time for another update.

Work is continuing, still figuring out the last bit of the script, but otherwise getting there. I've closed the polls as I'm past the halfway point and there's a clear winner.

Current work stands at 2min10 of rendered footage, with more currently rendering. I've decided that the tricky bits are the ones where there's more action and less talking, so I've skipped over parts of it and started going non-sequentially to clear the tough sections first.

The extra good news here is that during a particularly long render last night, I spent time fixing up the Kyn model and making it a bit more suitable for what's coming up next. As per usual, there's also been a ton of cloth simulation fuckery to deal with, the really evil part is rendering right now, so fingers crossed it comes out good. The next part is going to be Efa and her clothing, but I think I have a solution to get rid of that issue pretty soon.

Still looking at getting this done and released before the end of the month if at all possible. I think the 31st is next friday, so I'd like to get this midweek to get a bit of breathing room. Weekend looks like nothing but rain, so likely I'll have extra time to sink into this instead of doing things I really need to get done.

As a bit of a bonus as well, here's a preview of what is rendering right now. Kyn looks smug. It's also not what it looks like is happening. It's something completely different. This is a deliberately misleading image. OR IS IT

It is. It's misleading as fuck. She's sat on his chest, you can see his shorts are still on. This is Efa demonstrating her complete lack of knowledge when it comes to CPR.

Yes, that does go up to 5 minutes. Row 1 is background, 2/3 are video clips and 4/5 are speech. Part of the time issue with this one is Kyn is in most of the shots. He has a lot of fur and each frame he is in takes over a minute to render. Frames with just Efa are usually around 20 seconds each.

Also, this photo is absolutely what it looks like she is doing, and she should know it's rude to stare.
