Nearly there!

Just a quick update, and I hope that everyone had a christmas.

We're on to the last few bits of animating and then it's just render and edit. And the good news is that there isn't much of either animating or editing.

There's one scene that's partially rendering right now, just needs about 600f@80s/f to complete, some will go overnight, the rest will get the final part animated and should render tomorrow overnight. Finally, there's another fresh 600f scene, but last time I rendered that stuff, it was firing through it at around 15s/f. It's amazing how much the render time comes down when there's no fur. There is a water sim, but it *should* be relatively simple.

I also need to re-render a section because the current bit looks awful. I think that's another 600f but it could be less. I might be able to edit around it. Edit is mostly complete as well, just needs renders plugged in and a bit of tweaking.

I'm tentatively aiming for this year to release it. That gives me 49 hours.

Can it be done? Who the fuck knows!

Everything is Eevee, with about 100 hair children per face. I was doing 150 but it makes no visible difference and saves about 30s/f. 15s/f was just Efa in the bathroom from many episodes back.

80 seconds per frame? That's super good. What are you using? Eevee? Cycles with no fur? ;)
