A bunch of Efas and also Kyn I guess

There's a chance there might be some confusion over Efa versions. The one I released the other day is labelled as V2. That is correct for free versions. The Readme contains the version numbers. Both of them.

So, while Efa V2 is actually Efa V5, most of those V's are little changes or fixes or simple things like getting rid of stuff like clothes. I'm not good at versioning.

Technically, the Efa I completed this time is Efa V5.5. The only real difference is a new rig, genital removal and clothing. I do have an Efa V6 in production, but this is a complete model redo, so going to take a bit of time. Plus I messed up parts of the new rig that need correcting.

Anyway, the new and current Efa is done. She's been transplanted in place of the placeholder Efa Cube and has had roughly half of her actual animation done in the longshot scene. Kyn on the other hand has had a bit more extensive work done on him.

He's got a new body mesh, evening up his Faces, so fur distributes nicer, and taking some fur lessons more seriously. I've always had issues with fur coverage and annoying baldspots. I think I've figured out most of how to get around those, and I think his fur looks better than ever. That is a subjective opinion though, let's see how people like it when the episode releases.

The current list of things to do on Kyn now are:

* Texture clothing

* Add transparent eyespheres (corneas? I'm not hot on eye biology)

* Fur colour texturing

* Rig

It has also occured to me today that redoing Kyn need not stop all work on further scenes. There's a whole scene I know I can do without Kyn for the most part, so should be able to get that on the go pretty rapidly.

To summarise, things have progressed. Efa is done, Kyn is coming along, I should probably do some kind of animation with models lying around just to have something to release, and if I put my mind to it, I can get a 5 man Assault Intercessor Squad and 3 Skorpekh Destroyers built and painted in an evening. They are now in a box of completed models, because I live in a van and have nowhere else to put them. In other personal news, I got my main bike completely stripped, cleaned, regreased and built back up, and even got my downhill bike disassembled and the parts shifted to a newish frame I've had for months waiting to be built.

By my count, we have 7 weeks until lockdown ends, and I can finally go riding. And I want to be sure my bikes are ready for it.

Final words: I'm wanting to get this episode done this month. I have 3.5 weeks to do it in. It's been 3 months since the last one.
