Next side-project voting

Following on from the last vote, I've made a couple of concept animations, as well as the last Efa imageset to see what I should concentrate on next.

Dargon suggested some things, but also mentioned solo animations with any of the characters. I kind of like the idea of showing off the newer models for Kyn and Efa, and I quite enjoyed doing Efas Zero-G imageset, and would quite like to turn it into an animation as well.

Similarly, I could have paired Efa and Kyn, but nobody requested them together, so I have got another quick days experimental animation I did over the weekend which would benefit from extending and improving.

Finally, one pairing from someone who didn't leave a name was Efa and Wolf. That one started some creative juices flowing, so the third option is an alternative to Episode 2. That one had Efa decide to swim into the river cave instead of jumping off a waterfall or heading for the shore which had an annoyingly placed wolf. That's something I can work with, so there's also a pre-vis for that one.

And just in case anyone is worried that that this is taking time away from the next episode, it is certainly progressing.

This week:

• Rendered the first 40 seconds
• Previs up to 4min30s
• Completely made a new character, who is just waiting for rigging and shape keys (he'll be shown off soon!)
• Started working on timings for the part after the end of the current previs

Full disclosure, I'm trying to increase my work output lately to the point where I'm putting in at minimum full-time hours for this stuff. I know I'm not at the right level yet, but I'd like to try and push this patreon thing to the point where I'm able to at least cover my monthly outgoings. Technically, I can probably go without work for a few months, and after the last job and the homeless situation, luckily my outgoings aren't too much, no house or flat to have to pay bills on. 

It would be nice to turn this into a job, because I'm at a point where I don't know what I want to do. I got into coding to escape service jobs, but after 2 years experience in 2 different jobs (the first one almost fired me to cut costs at the start of the pandemic), it just seems I've had no opportunity to develop beyond a beginner, and I really don't have the patience for companies that fuck you around with multiple interviews then drop you with no feedback. 2 years of software development, and there hasn't been a day yet where I haven't felt completely disposable. A feeling backed up by how I've been treated by both companies.

So, I'm trying other things during my self-imposed time off to see if I can get an alternative to traditional jobs to work. Though I would like to push patreon more, I'm still not wanting to paywall content. I am open to any ideas and would appreciate feedback!
