Kind of disappointing - feedback

I know it's bad to get annoyed about people not looking at stuff you do, but at the same time, after 4 months of graft to get the biggest episode yet out, it's really disheartening that the counter on e621 went up to 35 in 24hrs, and then has been sat there for over a day.
I'm not sure if it's because nobody noticed either video, or people watched it and hated it, but it has absolutely bombed, and at this moment it looks like both will get auto-deleted because none of the admin have approved them. This will make them the second and third episodes auto-deleted on there.
FA isn't much better with 181 views, SF got 65.
Personally, I feel the problem is nobody is interested in story, they just want porn, plus they went out at a shitty time that nobody was online, so they just slipped on through. I have to really revise how I advertise these things, and I'm not talking monetisation at all either. You create stuff for yourself, but also for others to enjoy. If the majority don't enjoy, then that's a problem.
Right now, I'm looking at the plot and the amount of work that is going to go into it, and I get the feeling it's onl going to get viewed for the sex scene part of it. I'll be surprised if the majority of watchers get further than that.

Also, don't worry, this isn't a reverse-psychology attempt at getting a hugbox going to make me feel better. And that isn't a double reverse to force it either. Bottom line is there's going to be things I'm doing badly with, if I keep going as I am, it risks getting worse instead of improving. Your brutal feedback can help course-correct.

Well, at the very least the mods got around to approving them on e6, so that's one less concern. It's an unfortunate truth that SFW stuff will usually do worse than NSFW for a variety of reasons. For the rating, I think it's more that people didn't see it, rating-bombing on e6 is usually reserved for more extreme fetishes. I understand the trepidation about potentially putting so much into something only for a few people to see it. Ultimately it has to be worth it for you first, before others. Efa and Kyn have been set on this path and you and at least some others (us and non-supporters) would like to see it through. Is it feasible in the long run? Couldn't say, I've never been to space, heh. I'm not enthusiastic about the tone on the survey, but I'll still fill one out. It doesn't need to be a hugbox to sympathize with ya, I think, and my praises of this episode were genuine. I like what you do, and hope we can help ya achieve!
