Big update stuff.

I'll be honest, I've sort of neglected Patreon the last few weeks. Rather than dropping stuff on here, I've been firing them up on the Discord instead. Part laziness, part lack of time.

For starters, I've been doing a load of work on the next episode, hoping to get something within the next few weeks to release. This is a shorter one. After that, I'll be working on the first episode of Efa and the Wolf. A bit more about that later...

So, future plans.

This current episode should only be around 2min - 2min30 in length and will have an audience vote at the end, leading into a couple of smaller episodes before a big one. Once this episode is up for voting, it will be Efa and the Wolf's turn.

Efa and the Wolf is a little different. I've built a story tree for this one. It's also Audience-chosen, and the voters will build the route the story takes through the tree, with each decision and result animated and released individually. It's also entirely non-canon, so you'll need to be a bit more careful with Efa. Once the story is completed, it'll be released as a single animation. Incidentally, the voting for this one is Patreons only.

The plan is to alternate between the main story and Efa and the Wolf.

The main story is getting close to a conclusion as well, and I have plans for what's coming next, but that will get revealed closer to the time. All I will say now is that it's not the end of the story for Efa, Kyn and the new cast members. The next story will be in the same universe, but with different people. They may all meet eventually. Who knows? 

On that note, there's always been an element of peril for some of the characters. There may be some real and dangerous situations cropping up soon, but though characters are at risk in the story, they'll still be turning up in non-canon animations. I don't plan to permanently kill off anyone. It might sound like I'm planning to get one of the characters killed by suspiciously denying stuff, but it's not anyone specific, and as usual it all comes down to how the audience deals with the story and situations.

I did plan for some dramatic stuff and even scripted several redshirts specifically to kill off, but they would have been really obvious redshirts, so they got scrapped and this current story diversion is now getting us to know the new characters, hopefully so people will care a bit more about them when they get into trouble. The problem now is that they've all taken a bunch of work, and I quite like all of them, and don't particularly want to endanger them any more. Oh well.
