Update time!

We've got a few things this month, surprisingly.

First, we have Eystri learning just why the Twins are popular with the ladies. They have a "No holes unfilled" policy. Or so Talinn says. Kiel thinks it's a dumb boast, because what exactly does he expect to do with ears and nostrils? You can only realistically do something with 42.86% of her holes. Luckily, they're good enough at what they do that even Kiels maths don't cause too many problems.

Finally, a challenge. It's popular for newcomers to 3d software to follow a doughnut tutorial. Modelling, texturing and rendering one or more over the course of 8 highly profitable 45minute videos. PowerRanger asked me if I started with one. I have never done one, so I did one.

Updates on other stuff

This has been a month.

In fact, January traditionally takes about 3 months to do 31 days. Work has been mental, deadlines for stuff (named because you want to kill yourself) and general case of always got something needing done.

On top of that, I've been dealing with the tailend of covid symptoms. Still got certain flavours totally burnt out. Then there's getting my new flat sorted and all the boxes emptied, bills switched, addresses changed and so on. Then in the last few days, there's been a curveball thrown. A place close by came up for sale. I had some money put aside from an inheritance that I've been slowly eating through until I can get a better wage that actually covers my monthly outgoings. With another family member, we had enough to put in an offer on the place, and won it. After a few months rent free, I'll be paying the property back, but at a lower rent than I would be in this place. So everything I unpacked now needs repacked. Hooray.

Despite all that, I've managed to get a fair bit of work done on various projects, even if I'm really shit at actually posting them here. 

• The next episode is almost fully blocked out, and two of the big sequences are rendered and good to go. Another big one is probably about 70% of the way, then it's just connective tissue to pull it all together.
• A commission project I'm doing for Hawk Winters is maybe 60% complete, but I've hit issues that are giving me problems to resolve. Still figuring this stuff out, or if there's a way to change it enough to skip the issues and progress again.

All of these are subject to change. I'm planning on taking the weekend off for biking. I've not been for a couple of months now, since Storm Arwen closed down most of the biking in Scotland, and I need to get back out. I'll update where is needed, if I can fucking remember to do so.
