Eystri is faced with a dilemma.

She's been wanting to get these two alone for a long time now. On the other hand, Bergen seemed pretty insistent that all of you needed to get ready to go. It's rare for that many people to have to go planetside unless there's a lot of cargo to load up.

Naturally, this makes a good dicking seem like the better option.

Reticently, she decides that maybe it's better to get this over with, then at least she can enjoy the twins without a deadline looming over them.

It doesn't take long for everyone to get dressed and down to the shuttle.

=======================================================

Normally there'd be a long story here describing stuff, but there's so much dialog here that it's hard to miss what's going on.

In the end, Kiels point of view won out:

The repercussions of this vote aren't immediately apparent, though the other 2 options would have been a fuckload easier to animate.

In the end, I'd like to apologise. The last episode was early december. It's now late April. That is way too long a time between updates. My only excuse is a bunch of models to do and laziness. Also work. Actually quite a lot of the work thing.

Sian is a new character. She was originally going to be a male red panda. I don't know what happened there, but she's way more energetic and bouncy and so much harder to animate. I like her better than the original character. There are a few cheesecake pictures of her now, but she's staying mostly tasteful nudity for now, so apologies there as well!

This is the Patreon version of the video. I'll be doing a proper hi-res one in a few days, and a lower quality one for general release. If you see anything I fucked up, please let me know and I can work to fix it.

========================================

On a Patreon aside as well, I'm building a specific website for The Wilderness, where I'll expand on each episode as well. Additional pictures and so on to bulk it out a bit. It's still in production though. It needs a load of graphics, and my computer has been rendering nonstop for weeks now, so I haven't been able to add that content. Now I can start properly!

Work has been pretty fucking awful lately, and each day I go in wondering if this is the one where I snap and walk back out again. This is why I'm doing the site, and hoping to increase output on various projects. I'd like to try and push towards making this stuff full-time, which means somehow attracting a lot more viewers. One step is going to be working on motion capture performances. I've got a few ideas for that I want to work on. Any other suggestions, let me have it!

A excellent job well done, you guy are doing an awesome job. ^^

Thanks. I thought I'd got all those bloody spikes. I'll work through those issues and get the ones I can. A couple of those files got a bit too big and won't open any more, so fingers crossed it's in none of those!

Wow, I'm kind of amazed that the most responsible option won out. The internet is so perpetually horny that I assumed someone was gonna die for Talinn's option, heh. Personally I don't think you have anything to apologize for given how many models you had to make for this, plus having a job, plus moving, -plus- renovating the new place, _plus_ the time rendering... A minute for every month is damned impressive in my eyes! Sian is a super-cutie, and I'm sad I somehow missed her initial reveal. Perhaps it was fate that it was her instead of the panda, now we have equal numbers of male and female characters, haha! I'm sorry to hear she's harder to animate, but she does look wonderful and that tail is so fluffy I could die. Best of luck with the website, unfortunately I only ever did really bare-bones html back in the day. Some technologies make it a lot easier these days, at least Shit, sounds like a rough time at work. We've been in crunch for about a month ourselves, so I can empathize. Here's hoping this episode strikes a chord! For the episode itself, you've done a pretty amazing job for a one-person studio. The character movements are generally lifelike throughout, an impressive feat for an almost 5-minute animation! The music choice fits in each scene, the lip-flaps and subtitles are timed well together, and you get a sense of their personality through each character's dialogue. For the bedroom scene, high points include the whole first camera shot there, the crawl is nice, plus seeing the bed react is appreciated. Talinn's shaft slightly deflating is a nice touch too! Fortunately this is an animation, so the knee-on-shin contact isn't a big point, but that'd hurt a lot IRL, heh. Only technical point I can see is when Eystri's right arm comes down @ 0:32, it jumps a bit to get into position fast enough for her to twist her back. Not sure it's worth addressing to try and start that earlier, from a lower position, more keyframes, etc. Hallway scene looks good, and think you solved the 'different leg size' problem well. Very minor thing @ 0:45 where a light from the hangar disappears Team meeting is again nice, good conversation and character motion. Ship interior strikes a good balance of detailed vs. busy. Eystri's right boob gives the barest twitch @ 1:03, not sure if something can be done there. For Sian's jump up to the second floor, I think it looks great once she's taken off, and that last vault over the bar is smooth as butter! However, for her initial appearance, I would probably not have her look at Kiel when she passes him. As it is now, her head is looking forward, then snaps right, then appears to snap back forward. Probably better to have her just look forward the whole time? Takeoff sequence is beautiful, nigh pristine. The amount of motion you've put on that ship is nuts. The tiniest blemish is the extra-shiny eyes of the twins, but it hardly bears mentioning. Enemy ship firing sequence is cool, though I have to wonder if there's a way to vary the laser shots a little? I don't know if that's a particle emitter in Blender; if so, is there a way to reverse the particle's orientation? Even a small variation like that would help the immersion, I think. Secondly, you may want to consider lowering the volume of the attack music. After the fade out of the takeoff music, my ears/brain were not quite primed for that massive drumbeat. The initial level-out and cruise in the dropship is lovely, though the smash-cut back into the rock music was again a little jarring. Perhaps use a brief fade-in from black with a bit of a music ramp to mirror the laser 'impact' that led into it? Bergen and Eystri's conversation is good for pace and gestures, but it seems a little odd that Eystri is looking in one direction the whole time. Also, I think you mentioned in the progress that one character was spiking, unfortunately it may not be fully cured, heh. @ 3:33 and more seriously @ 3:36 Eystri's left shoulder pad spikes upward noticeably. Lastly, when the alert happens her hair goes a little nuts, but hair's gonna hair and no one can tell it otherwise, haha! The impact looks really good, if a bit fast. I realize slowing it down would mean completely altering the scene, so no worries there. The wave and explosion look great! Hopefully their ship has some kind of inertial dampeners, the three in the back weren't strapped in... Alright, well that got really long. Apologies for the long message, and sorry if it's nitpicky. I don't think any of the issues are serious, but hey, if they can be fixed easily I figured I should mention. Again, I think you've done amazingly here, I certainly could never do something like this in four years, let alone four months! Thank you for your hard work and persistence, and best of luck at work.
