Holy piss, it's an update?

Ok, so where do we begin?

I think by now, it's traditional to start with an apology. Sorry it's been a while since the last update. So, here's what has happened and is currently happening, and will be happening.

So, to recap, I took on a dog that the owner was unable to look after. After 5 days, she just died. I've gone through the vets process and pot-mortems and the result was inconclusive, nothing to show why it happened or even what happened.

Anyway, I got lonely. Even though it was only 5 days, the flat felt empty.

About the same time, her parents had had another litter, and the breeder offered me one at a reduced price because of everything that had happened. I took on courier work to be able to afford it, sold loads of stuff and basically did nothing but work for a month, and I got my puppy.

What follows has been either working to try and earn money, or caring for a puppy, which has eaten nearly all my time. For example, you work for 5 minutes but then get distracted and have to walk the dog. It then takes 20 minutes of dog stuff, settling her, then 10 minutes to catch up to what you were doing, you get a few minutes work and she needs attention again. That has been the last month and a bit for me.  I'm slowly getting more and more time to focus on stuff now.

So, the next steps are going to be a little slow.

First, I've got an event I'm working at the end of the month for a week and a half, which should pay enough to keep me and the dog fed for a month or so. I'll be leaving for that middle of next week. Before that I'm intending on getting some work done, but I also need to get my van ready to be lived in for 2 weeks, but that's close to finished. I did try some animation the other day, but couldn't get any inspiration, so working on that.

I'm going to do a bit more gamedev stuff. A lot of it is going to be a timesink though, but there are some smaller tasks unaffected by the animation stuff, so I'll work on those and some updates. I'll also try to get some of the next Wilderness episode done. It's only been over a year. I've also got some stuff due to several people, so that's going to start moving, if not before I go away, then after.
