Hey all, I know it's been a while since we've made a post, and now I finally have the chance to let everyone else know what's going on. Over a week ago I (Ty ) overextended my pinkie, I'd previously made a doctors appointment for the following week, and I figured I'd get it checked out then. After some x-rays it turns out that I broke my pinkie, and I'm in a cast for the next three weeks. This has made typing posts extremely difficult, especially because it took me a while to reactivate my speech to text program on my laptop, mainly because I hadn't been using it for a long time. But now everything is up and running, I have a working headset, and I can resume making posts and keeping up communications.
Unfortunately, Crow has not been having as much success. Once we got home, Crow's computer started to randomly turn off. We've had a couple of people look at it, and it's looking like we're going to have to rebuild the system. We're not sure if it's the liquid cooling, the power supply, or the motherboard, but suffice to say it's not working and we need to replace parts.
For now work is at a standstill until we can replace the damaged parts. The required components are already on their way.
Work will resume as soon as possible, in the meantime thank you for your continued support.

2019-02-03 18:59:00 +0000 UTCYup that's what we did. I didn't explain all the details of what we discovered, but we have to replace parts at this point. That's why parts are on the way.

2019-02-03 18:58:30 +0000 UTCThat's always been my fear with liquid cooling, is what if it leaks :-( or the pump fails. Most air cooling these days is sufficient enough. Unless your doing some heavy overclocking ;-)

2019-02-03 14:48:42 +0000 UTCRandom power-offs are usually be caused by the PSU struggling to supply enough "juice" from the 12 or 5V line. I had that happen a few years back when my power supply started to approach the limits of its lifespan. Another possible culprit may be dust or cooling issues, but I'd try running the PC with another power supply first (see if you can borrow one for a few days from a friend and if it turns out to be the cause then buy a new PSU). Motherboard replacement is really the worst-case scenario but let's hope it won't go to that. :) Let's hope things pick up soon for you guys.

2019-02-03 08:54:03 +0000 UTCWell damn. First a broken finger for one and then computer troubles for the other. Ouch. Talk about a double wham in the face. Luckily I understand and can be patient.
