☕Chat Time☕: Future of this Patreon

Hello everyone, hope you’ve had a good week! Just wanted to start off by saying thank you so much for the support over the past year!

Whether you’ve pledged for a month, multiple months, since the start, or even if you just follow me here or on any of my social media accounts, I’m eternally grateful for all of the support, comments and likes on my lil nsfw comics and art! It's all thanks to you guys that I get to do what I love! It honestly means the world to me 🥰💕

However, I know it’s a very difficult time financially for many people, so if supporting this patreon is no longer within your budget, please prioritize your finances and do not feel pressured to stay. I completely understand!

A while ago, I mentioned I would write up a post regarding censorship and the future of this patreon and so finally, here are my thoughts and future plans!

-: Censorship :-

I’m sure a lot of you have heard about the ongoing increases in censorship, especially in the USA. A lot of payment processors and credit card companies have been ramping up on censoring and banning 18+ content on many platforms. Around 5 years ago, tumblr banned all NSFW content. Last year, Gumroad banned all 18+ content with barely any notice and just recently, both Steam and itch.io removed its 18+ content as well.

As a NSFW artist, I’m used to websites coming and going but lately I feel like things have really been ramping up. So before anything out of my control happens to this Patreon, I thought I’d summarize and explain my current plans. Especially since Patreon is already known to suspend NSFW/18+ accounts without warning.

-: Future of this Patreon :-

Regarding the future of this Patreon, as long as the decision is within my hands, it will not be closing! As long as Patreon doesn’t decide to randomly delete me, I will continue to post my art and comics here for as long as I can. If at some point Patreon decides they no longer want me or other 18+ creators on their platform, I’ve been slowly working on getting a SubscriberStar going as a backup as well! That’s partially why it took so long for me to write this post.

Once I’ve organized my SubscribeStar, it will run simultaneously with this Patreon and with the same content. SubscribeStar is a similar platform to Patreon, where you can financially support your favorite artists and creators, but much more lax about content allowed. Since my priority at the moment is continuing to create and post art and comics for everyone here on Patreon, my SubStar will take a bit and hopefully be out within this year.

I know that was a bit to read, so here’s a short summary/TLDR:

Although censorship for NSFW/18+ content is ramping up everywhere online, I will NOT be closing this Patreon as long as it’s within my control. In the event my patreon is suddenly suspended, I am currently working on getting a SubscribeStar running as a backup and will hopefully be out before the end of this year.
