Cricket Song (WIP)

Finally a comic about Tulip's cricket friend, Fern. If you don't remember him I attached a comic that had his appearance.

Tulip and Dot overhear some gentle guitar playing and look to find where its coming from. Tulip isnt familiar with the player but dot recognizes him from his hands, which is her friend Fern. Fern initially thinks Dot is mocking him, but Dot tries to reassure him. When Fern rejects it, Tulip jumps out and encourages him, and that he should play more, Dot joins her.

Originally the comic was going to be abt Fern confronting his possessive feelings with Tulip (due to trauma and familial attachment to her) but without that backstory i was concerned about it coming across as obsessive and weird. So I tried to establish them as friends first. The original comic i planned didnt portray Fern well, who is actually very timid compared to Tulip and only acts tough next to her
