Still experimenting with styles, can't seem to find anything that works, but I feel like it's gonna work itself out when I get a better grasp of doing this.

It's been a year since I've made a picture I'm personally happy with, I feel like everything I do lately is just average. I should just pick a style I like and start refining my technique but I always find myself balancing the aspects of what I like, what the audience likes, what takes a lot of time and whats convenient.

2017-11-01 09:52:00 +0000 UTCHonestly, maybe you should just have several styles. This seems like a "flat" or simple coloring style. You then have those pics where there is a lot of detail in the skin, clothes, etc. Maybe call that an "HD" style? And of course we have the comic style as well, but that's a coloring thing. Point is, don't beat yourself over your art having varying degrees of quality. Going from comic to full illustration over and over again will have a minor effect on your work product. But all of it is still really good.
