To everyone's information: I had to block SexyBlimp because he kept harassing me and sending me fucking 25 messages an hour and not being able to take a NO for an answer. Voice acted pages WILL happen but I will work directly with a voice actor. I want absolutely nothing to do with this idiot.

I like it, but I'm on the same boat where the voice actor, while good, doesn't seem to fit Sydney super well. I also think the Payday 2 OST in the background is a little distracting from the rest of the comic. She's a good actor, that's not in doubt, but I don't think she's fit for Sydney. She probably would be a good VA for Tina, though.

Something like that would literally cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Unless it’s something made in Adobe flash but at that point it probably wouldn’t look very good unless we got some extremely talented artists.

Voice acting is a very difficult process although what’s really odd is the fact that the increase in price was alll going to go to him. It was not going to go to the actresses. All we asked in return was for him to advertise for us. Nothing more. We were giving him a good offer

I honestly dont see how this will negatively effect kip in any way. He already made the pages, someone is just voice acting over it, or maybe im missing something, And I hope when he said it would be 5$ content, the money would be going to Sexyblimps patreon, cause I imagine all kip has to to is give permission to the voice actresses, which doesn't really require any effort.

Yeah I agree, it was a friend who chose it and I don't think he had access to a lot of music. But I didn't fuss about it since this was a test page.

Personally, I pictured Sydney being a bit lower in the register; more of an alto than a soprano. But that's really up to the artist on casting, so if Kip's happy with the voice then that's her call. The read itself is a bit wooden though, bouncing back and forth from basically unemotive to "Oh, I'm supposed to make this sound HOT, aren't I?" The end result comes off as disinterested in the material.

I like this idea. Although, as some of here has already noted, the acting part needs little polishing. I just feel the acting and overal feel of that scene in the comic differs too much. I would also feel it would be better when moving to next frame, the first sentence would play automatically like in middle frame, now you have to click to play it on other frames.

This is wonderful. The voice is right, honestly around what I would have figured for Sidney. The only thing about the acting I can criticize is the emotion of the performance itself. It doesn't really match the mood of the scene or Sidney's expressions. "Subdued" is the word I would use, and while that is perfectly fine on its own, the impression given from the comic itself (or at least the impression I got) suggests more energy and excitement on Sydney's part in the second half. A raging blaze, rather than a quiet fire. Regardless, the acting is still really good. I look forward to see what becomes of this!

Not bad, needs some work but a good start. I think mostly just needs to work on fitting the mood and a bit of adjustments to the mic so that it's not too scratchy. I say keep working on this page a bit more so that it can improve. Good job.
