I've read something of the sort before, I was concerned this might be the site in question. Good to know and it's something to consider.

It is a shady site, as is known by some dakimakura hobby communities. They steal dakimakura designs from Japanese artists, who seem mostly seem oblivious to it. Since most dakimakura designs are made by doujinshi hobby circles, they are rarely shipped outside Japan. Furthermore legitimate dakimakura covers tend to be limited in production and not easily found for non-Japanese speakers. Sites like these abuse the international demand and print them in China, but they are essentially stealing art.

As far as these things go they only sell the cover (most of the time) and you need to find the pillow yourself. So in this case you could stuff her as much as you like.

I only have experience with this site from a consumer point of view, but from that view they have great costumer service and high quality stuff.

I'd go for it, really, the site seems to be rather popular, and even if they don't pay as well as they could, the painting is still yours to share here or whatever (I assume?). Plus you could reach people you would never reach through DeviantArt or Twitter or here. (Not to mention I'd prolly buy one myself shhhhhhhh tell noone) So the worst thing that could happen really is you waste two paintings worth of time but you still get the paintings.

It would be incredible if they could make an overstuffed pillow, or just make Sydney's midsection the bulk of the pillow and have a little bit of her at the top of the bottom, kind of like a fisheye lens

I think that making a dakimakura is a good idea. There aren't many options for stuff like this in the community, so I imagine it could be popular

I ordered maybe 2 or 3 from them several years ago. Quality is good, didn't have any issues. Have never really seen alternatives. Not sure who Slugbox uses - have 2 of his, which are really nice quality, but also weren't cheap.

i dont have any experience or opinions on the site, but this may be a good opprotunity to take if you’ve been wanting to ship out body pillows with your own designs, plus im sure anyone who enjoys your work (myself included) would buy one of your designs

Same with me. Ive checked out the site before and it looks okay and the designs and quality look amazing but i dont see any regulars there tho so im not sure. But one thing for a fact is that you need to make a Sydney pillow with her belly as big as it is right now,i bet it'll sell out fast,lol
