Which NLB 'arc' was your favorite/least favorite

Really enjoyed how you made situations for Sydney both sexy and funny. Eating at the buffet while Tina oogles, Sydney getting mistaken for a beach ball, etc. I really enjoy the scenes where Tina and Sandy talked dirty. Hearing them call out Sydney and the things she's doing, how her body looks, are the most intense things for me. I love your lewd scenes and get Sydney completely whenever she gets hearts in her eyes. I also enjoy how you make it possible to stuff, see huge gains, then they go away as obviously nobody is gaining 300lbs in one sitting. ;) I definitely did not enjoy the mouse pages. I won't go into it as I'm sure you've heard enough on that one.

i'm a sucker for a weight gain progression in any format, straight up and down, and you've really illustarated that well visually, as well as "emotionally" in ur work. idk if it's the art or my brain subliminally caring and investing itself in your characters (which i do) but your stuff just pulls me in more and more into this universe. like, i've read this book in a sexual headspace like, "oooo, her butt's gettin' big as fuck oooooooooo" and then gone back with a genuine intrigue in the people and lore of it all. not something i can say for 99% of my kink activities online lol

NLB has been an incredibly engaging story to follow. I especially loved the characters, their relationships and how they evolved throughout the story. From a pure fan-service point of view, my favourite arcs were the spa and the spa aftermath, mainly due to the two amazing stuck scenes. Looking forward to the sequel!

Kip your work is already head-and-shoulders above most stuff in this fetish. I’d say just do your own thing and say screw everybody but then again I also really like how much you do listen to your fans and I think you’re walking that line really well with this comic. I also thought you handled having a plot that worked with the fetish really well. Some people would be satisfied with 12 back-to-back dinner scenes but it’s clear you want to do more with your stories and I really appreciate that.

Admittedly my favorite page of the entire adventure is Grace getting really mad at Sydney only to calm down and bite back somberly. It still gets to me how much growth Grace gets as a character here. Like seeing her grab the picture frame of her old friends from previous series even made me tear up a bit when i first saw it, I felt really bad for her. Well done Kip, to you and the amazing characters you have created.

Favorite part was easily Sydney's self-discovery and fat play. Least favorite was Sandy's capture and feeding of Sydney because I'm not really a fan of forced-feeding... but I read through it. A close second favorite bit was (one of? I can't remember if there was one or two...) the consensual Sandy feedings where, after Sandy left, Sydney continued to eat everything in the house, including the dead mice. The inherent depravity was erotic.

loved the whole comic. the kidnapping/force-feeding was a bit stressful, but thats just me not wanting to see the girls suffer. i'm hoping after alls said and done in NoLunch2Break, everyone can get along. the slice-of-life stuff was my favorite. looking forward to whatever you have planned!

I loved the Syd rescue the best, but it's because I have a special thing for the combination of weight gain, suspense, and implied danger. Having a big girl struggle to escape as a result of her gains is probably my most guilty pleasure. In the same vein, I really loved having Syd trying to hide from the ''weight regulator at work'', even it is was more light hearten than the threat posed by Sandy. As a general comment, I really appreciated how this story managed to tell a compelling plot ark, with real character growth (as well as their waistline :P). It felt superior in a storytelling sense to your previous works, which where already one step ahead in this kink sub-genre of literature/comic.

Thank you, good points! The reason why it jumps between these two is because people always start rioting if there are no lewds, so I have to sprinkle them inbetween. Generally this isn't a problem in a lighthearted situation, but more serious parts make it an issue. I don't know how to do it properly yet, but I hope I'll get it right eventually!

My favourite was the beginning, mainly because its easiest to tell the difference between weights. When somebody gains you can really tell how much. As much as I loved the ending sizes, it was harder to tell when they got bigger other than the fact they were being fed. My least favourite parts was the ending, but not because it was serious. I felt like that fit it well and i'm ok with serious storytelling in stuff like this. It's more that the tone felt kind of mixed, where it was battling between being a feeding/weight gain fetish comic and a straightforward thriller. Stuff like this can certainly work, with Metamorphosis being a good example, but instead of being contained in "blocks" of "horny fetish" and "tense thriller" it felt like it was jumping between the two page to page. I think if I were to reread the comic front to back I would certainly notice this a lot more. Sorry for the wall of text, I did enjoy it a lot! That's just stuff that stood out to me.

Thanks! There were others who shared your view about the office-rules, so you definitely have a point. I myself just don't see what makes it so weird, sure it's exaggerated but in parts of the world like japan you get taxed for being fat at work so it's not that absurd of an idea. Maybe this is indeed a cultural thing, but I still want to find a way to make it believable.

Good points. From a storytelling perspective it's really difficult to make 'happy times' work as the climax of the story has already come to an end. That's why I decided to do a little epilogue like this.

To be honest during the comics run I had money troubles as far as patreon monthly payments oh, so there's a big gap for me between the spa slide accident, and Sydney talking to Grace about issues

As for my least favorite part I guess it was the office troubles because I found the office's "be thin or else" stuff to be so over-exaggerated as to be almost comical, but not in a way that felt intentional. It didn't feel necessary. Weight-based job discrimination exists and it would've been more believable had, say, HR been pressured into just happening to fire a few of the company's heaviest employees. Once rumors started circulating that that was the boss man's plans, the pressure would've been on just as heavily as had there been a big overblown announcement. We wouldn't have gotten to see Grace being publicly humiliated (always a plus in my opinion) but she could've been worked in some other way.

I liked when we got to see more than just Syd. I know there'll always be a main character, but the best times for me were when we got to see the whole group, in an array of states. Like at the spa when Sydney was pretty damn huge, but jealous of Fiina's rapid gain, and we had some Tina pudge on the side and also Sarah was there (poor Sarah). I know you have a preferred shape for fat girls but there's plenty of variety in ways to get fat and I for one like all of them so it's always nice to have a, shall we say, well-rounded cast.

I liked the 2nd and 3rd arc the most, everything is pretty light-hearted and fun at that point. The last two arcs were my least favorite, because they seemed to be much more serious, and the characters themselves didn't appear to be having a good time. In retrospect, I do appreciate that the story got more serious, it helped me appreciate the earlier arcs more than I would have if the story kept the same tone the whole time. The only suggestion I have is to make it a little more light-hearted at the end of the story. The story stayed serious for a long time, and a bit of fun at the end is refreshing. All in all it was a very good story, and I don't think the later arcs are bad or anything, they just aren't my thing. I can't wait to see what you have planned for future stories and arcs. 😁

IMO the slice of life stuff is the best, since it reflects a lot of the weight gain kinks, like trying new clothes and etc. I'm really glad you decided to give us a slice of life after the final page, or else the whole Syd captive by Sandy arc might've felt a little pointless if we didn't see the hefty gain afterwards.

I quite loved the beginning with Syd getting those gains and learning to live with her gut, but I also greatly enjoyed the spa arc purely because I’m a sucker for some slice of life between groups of friends. Syd and Tina hooking up was just a bonus!

I think my favorite part was when Fiina disappeared and then when she came back in the story really big it was a nice looking scene but I really enjoyed the relationship between Sydney and Tina that developed

I feel that sandy was so cute but then she switch to full criminal. She was favorite character as sort of a meme until it got serious. It’s a good move to set her up as an antagonist. But maybe we could’ve found out why her form of punishment involves stuffing people. She doesn’t seem to have a belly fetish like Sydney and a little bit of Tina. Maybe I missed why she rolls that way put it was a good change instead of ending it in an orgie like I thought it would. I personally like the amount of thought and story driven it was. And I wouldn’t call the kidnapping dark because I never felt like she was in danger. Maybe put more at stake? I don’t just do you . I quote Stan Lee “ I have always tried to please myself, not other people, and somehow it seems to have worked because I guess I’m not that different than other people”

I thought all of it was great, and I'm torn between the depth of story in some of the later arcs, and the comedy and endearingness of Sydney's initial slide into gluttony. Not one bit of the story was uninteresting though. Keep up the good work Kip!

I suppose another way to describe what I enjoyed was that situation Sydney was in, where she starts out so desperately wanting to *lose* weight, but through random circumstance, was kinda forced to gain weight until she started to realize that she enjoyed it.

Each part has its pluses but admittedly i loved everything about the spa and ending rescue, it shows even further how much her friends care for Sydney. No one normal would actually do the things they did. That and admittedly it made me a bigger fan of fiina so im glad she got incoroporated more. Hopefully she gets more down the pipeline. >.>

I think the earlier arcs with Syd realizing her excitement at gaining weight and embracing it were my favorites, it was fun seeing her character grow (literally and figuratively) and just be overwhelmed by it all in a positive way. The rescue arc was still fun, but when the girls started being in pain from the force feeding stuff I think I started feeling more detached. Syd still found it hot, but her horniness was more sparse compared to when she was taking action by herself. I guess I just prefer an active character to a passive one. Though I totally get some people find that stuff super hot, and that's cool, but that's just my input.

Overall I don't think there's a particular arc I disliked, I pretty thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. If I had to pick particularly favorite arcs though, I'd definitely say the beginning portion (for the same reasons as everyone else), and the spa arc because the cast was more or less able up enjoy themselves and their time together.

I liked the first arc the most, because of the way Sydney goes from obsessed with her fitness, to being confused/embarrassed about her weight gain, then curious about getting fatter, to actively enjoying it. Not sure how that kind of character arc can be reproduced in Part 2 though, since Sydney is pretty obsessed with stuffing herself now, but that character development was the thing that pulled me in originally. I also liked the relationship that built up between Tina and Sydney, and hope that they continue to "discover themselves" in the future too.

I like the beginning because she was skinny and then she got pudgy. Then she would play around with it by trying on tight clothes. Second favorite was sandy feeding Sydney in the beginning. Sandy was so playful and the way she talked to Sydney’s stuffed belly was so cute. Even better was Sydney was too stuffed to drink water so sandy got olive oil I think and lathered her in was. That was to good. I think my least favorite part would have be mean sandy feeding Sydney. I don’t know I liked it but not as much as the other scenes. Well just my thoughts. But great overall. Two thumbs up👍🏽👍🏽
