2020-12-09 14:54:14 +0000 UTCI’m really enjoying this because we’re finally learning stuff about Cindy (and Connor too I guess) after she had been mostly just her obvious surface features and Connor reacting to that… Then suddenly out of the blue we find out she’s a campy horror movie fanatic. I’m really glad Kip put in this non-obvious hobby, it adds a lot of realness to Cindy as a character. Now, what’s next? If we find out about her eating habits, it’s going to feel a lot more real and particular to her after the movies thing. Compared with if it was just thrown in there like the obvious trope you expect in a fat/feedee comic. Truly great work and I can’t wait until the new page tomorrow. Please just let the adventures of Cindy never end!

2020-12-08 18:36:03 +0000 UTCI think this comic is masterfully written, it has a bit of awkward dramedy vibes which brings an aspect of conflict to make the story interesting, but it also does so in a way that avoids making me cringe which is a problem I have with most situational comedy. Every page unfolds a bit more drama as we perch on the collective edges of our seats, wondering when things will heat up. This is truly the finest entertainment.

I can't tell whether she's enjoying it a little, or she's not enjoying it because it comes of as being critical. I think he'd halfway save himself if he could just explain that he's trying to compliment her, rather than just let her think he's insulting her.
