2021-03-09 14:03:35 +0000 UTCI can absolutely explain and answer questions, but most of the design elements don't exist because my method of working is to just erase and edit, I don't tend to save versions. So for FNN there only exists the character sheet that's been reworked until I was happy about it but no other stuff. I will definitely post the character sheet once the comic is done tho so at least there's that.

Along the same lines, I was wondering if you’d be open to doing a series of posts about “behind the scenes” or “making of” Full Night Nanny. Showing unfinished work can be a sensitive thing, and I totally respect if you’d rather not! If you are open to it, though, I’m sure it would be fascinating and a lot of us would enjoy getting a bit more Cindy content! Could include: - character designs, including abandoned directions - notes on character design goals (why is connor a boy? how did you decide cindy’s proportions (why so big / why not bigger? 😅)) - thumbnail drawings of key scenes - doodles of abandoned ideas, things that didn’t make the cut - sketches of the location / house floor plan, if it exists - character practice and expression pages, if they exist - explanation for what was the original inception of the idea? - explanation for how you grew that idea into the story (did it come together very quickly? did it percolate for a while?) - cindy back story / weight gain progression doodles, if they exist - sources of inspiration for characters or story That’s a lot, but you could just take a few of those as prompts if they are helpful! It would certainly take some time to pull together the material and write a post, but I would gladly take that in place of some waifu paintings if that would make it possible!
