[OC] L.A.P.I.S.: Λ (WIP)

Following the Lost Gaia timeline I started with Ivory and Saffron, who were formerly parts of the omnipotent and omnipresent goddess of creation GAIA, the next in line is the blue slonkubus Lapis! Unlike the hotheaded Saffron or the airheaded Ivy, Lapis is far more chill and has a cold, almost robotic nuance to her despite being pretty cute, outgoing, and friendly on the outside. Unlike Saffron, who trampless on humanity, Lapis' curiosity and love towards humans knows no bounds, and so do her esoteric abilities and ethically questionable experiments. Lapis also has around 5 forms total (coincidentally matching the stars on her design) as she's the former algorithm/system that originally managed and kept GAIA's original 5 personalities in harmony, making one or another surface depending on which role the goddess needed to play. She's basically the operating system of the original GAIA. It's no surprise she's usually what keeps all the slonkubus from destroying the universe behind the scenes and knows how to deal with each of them. But now that she's no longer part of a bigger whole with voices other than that of her own pure yet questionable reasoning, she's effectively a rogue and incomplete program on the loose free to do as much as her specifications allow. Incidentally, Lost Gaia is the name of her large scale social experiment to bring her timeline to its logical conclusion, whatever that means.

She's also the one who gave Ivory, Saffron, etc. their nicknames, including her own, because she's just a little silly sometimes. L.A.P.I.S.: Lambda technically is the actual name of her default form as the esoteric/geometric construct of the system/program L.A.P.I.S, as a whole, is her real self; the girl is just an avatar/projection/interface the actual system offers to physically interact with it, so she's quite literally just logged into our world like how we log into apps and games. For now I'll focus on her Lambda form, as her Alpha, Pi, Iota, and Sigma forms rely on how I handle the designs of the other slonkubus of Lost Gaia.

For now here's the first WIP of Lapis. The plan is to extend this pic and a character design sheet of her the with front and back view. Hopefully I'll get to add some description or examples of her abilities as well though most of them, lewd ones included, might be best showcased in future pics with a larger sense of space due to the geometric and abstract nature of her traits and abilities. She technically is partially incorporeal due to being a projection/avatar from a parallel dimention, the Blue World, so I'll probably need a large scale illustration in the future to show that as well. Not to mention that she has dangerous infohazards and cognitohazards (i.e. memes) that don't materialize/render according to our laws of reality, so playing into the subjective nature of those phenomena will also be a future challenge.

Since this pic will be mostly for reference and trying out various design ideas, not a full illustration, I'll be keeping the shapes and colors simple but clear and with minimal stylization, shading, and/or perspective in the insterest of time, though that might be subject to change as well. Honestly difficult to tell how long this will actually take since original designs don't really have a clear end in sight, so I'll just trust my instincts for this one.
