Librarium Weeklies during September!

Hey guys just a "poll" topic of sorts, feel free to drop suggestions of static battler sets you all would like to see during September and following months in our Librarium weeklies releases!

We'll go with stuff which is more in demand by more people or if everything is even I'll go with personal preference among the suggested themes!

P.S Random pic I made today to cooldown between work is featured in the image section, no reason!

Ooooo that would look really cool!

Aye they all sound like great idea's I hope you get around to them eventually =)

Haha, I'm glad you like the idea. Some generator bits would be nice, but maybe an icon as well if you don't mind? The idea is basically to have enemies that (if drops are gained) you can equip. The inspiration is admittedly Lufia II right and proper. The enemies Deadly Sword and Deadly Armor (Spookzwaard and Spookpantser in the Dutch release) drop their namesakes, which are pretty good. Except that you'll need to shell out a lot of cash to have them removed (permanently too, more's the pity. ¬_¬) when better armor and weapons can be obtained. However, we'd have the luxury (for RPGM MV and such) to make a whole set of armor and weapons that appear as individual enemies, or together as massive bosses. And the more the set matches? The stronger it is, maybe. Fantasy vehicles would be awesome, though tanks perchance warrant a special set dedicated to them. Uhm, there's a ton of Steampunk-ish or log-built tank designs of course, but there's so much more that can be done with the concept of a tank. ^^;; Maybe a fishbowl tank which shoots tangled seaweeds? I know you like your inanimate objects turned to the cause of battle, but food could be even funnier than most. Imagine a battle in which you have to beat an enemy who's maintaining a barrier behind which another one/more are preparing a meal out of heck. Depending on when the barrier-holder gets pwned you could have a weak boss monster oozing out, or the edible apocalypse raging out of the oven. Just a thought, but one I wanted to share. I'm hoping you'll get around to the musician girls first, but some generic humanoids would be awesome too. If you do knights though... Any chance of a Monty Python-esque Black Knight with detachable limbs? XD But I reckon not all of these should be musclebound Conan-clones in armor though, I'd recommend the Watch saga within the Discworld books if you consider some town guards.

Cyber space actually does sound interesting! I believe my take would be a blend of metal and shiny neon lights.

Ækashics

I believe we'd need to have a "Knight Humanoid creatures set" and a "General bandits set" "Raiders" maybe, for the slavers? so that each set is comprehensive enough perhaps!

Ækashics

Giant Bugs, can't go wrong with a Giant worm! I feel this would be a really nice pack after the first general bugs set for sure!

Ækashics

I've actually considered bugs before yes! Would be a matter of deciding if we want some specific type of bugs or just a general set of bugs at first. (which now that I've typed it, seems like the efficient first approach lol) Thanks!

Ækashics

Those are all really nice suggestions! I actually have done a lot of ghost stuff in the past, ghosts wielding haunted armor/weapon pieces included, making a haunted armor set is a really interesting idea haha. By player components are you talking about generator parts? As for ships, I feel we could either combine them into the ghost creatures set or do it individually yeah! I'd also love to do some fantasy tanks or other types of vehicles, I guess the question is, should a "tanks set" be more of a "Fantasy vehicles & machines set! Killer food is great. As you may have seen I love making monsters out of objects lol. Cute musician girls, definitely! though maybe some more general use humanoids such as...knights maybe, could be in order!

Ækashics

That'd be fun!

My suggestion is Electric Enemies out of all the elements those are the ones we have the least of. To make it more specific id personally love cyber based enemies since I have a dungeon that takes place in cyber space.

Well I know it's a bit more boring than a lot of peoples suggestions. But right now what the Librarium is really missing is human battlers. Especially bandits, slavers and other ne'erdowells.

CrazyChameleon

How about very giant bugs? Like giant worm, giant centipede, crystal scorpion, and even Crustacean like giant crayfish or a castle-size heremit crab!

How about bug/insect warriors? Nobody likes em. and the less people like them, the better enemies they make (to some degree). I hate bugs and I wouldn't want to use it in my project, but that's what kinda makes it perfect! Especially when you deck em out in some flashy armor and weapons or something. And there are a LOT of different kinds of bugs. Yuck.

Well, I've been digging through the old posts for a bit... Just making sure I'd not suggest something that had been done before. The thing is though, for some of the suggestions I'll put here I'd have to ask if you'd consider adding bits for player controlled battlers. You'll see why though, but the overall theme is slightly ghostly. Suggestions: -Haunsted/Cursed Armor w-w/o weapon- Essentially this would be a full set of plate armor (or scale/chain/leather/etc.) that is haunted or cursed and thus emits some ghostly flames or has a darkish aura and/or warped appearance. Each individual bit (helmet, gauntlets, chestplate, boots, etc.) could make a lesser foe while the whole armor (with equally haunted weapon) would make a good boss. I'd like to ask you, if this idea is okay, to also include some armor/weapon components for player battlers so that (like Lufia II) you can wear the armor and get bonusses (and maybe be unable to remove it normally). -Ghost Ship(s)- A bit of an RPG staple, I know, but it'd be nice to see what you might come up with. Not just a full-sized Galleon though, I'd like to ask a few ghost-Dinghies, -Cogs, -Pull Barges and so on as well. Be they decrepit ships with holes and barnacles or ghostly-enflamed ships with skeletons for figureheads. -Tanks- They appear in many games, sometimes as a bit of an immersion breaker, but a few good fantasy tanks would be nice. -Killer Food- Ever played Mother 3? You can get attacked by strawberry jam in the game, though that is just one example. It would be funny to have food gone bad as your opponents. For fun flavor, why not add a few player battler variants? -Kewt Musician Girls- You did post a guitar-gal with this post. So why not a whole band. And maybe some battler bits (hairdo/instruments/whatever) to go along with them. Recruiting a band of your own by battling them. =P
