Being an entrepreneur starts with finding the talent that the Most High deposited in you and cultivating that talent. Along the way, if you’re focused on the Most High and keeping in line with His will, avenues will open up for you (loans, donations, etc), brotha. But also, while you’re cultivating that talent, consider how you’ll run your business, map your vision and the steps necessary to bring it to pass, etc. As for the Corporate America, as a so-called black man, it’s best to just stay focused on why you’re there: be proficient at your occupation/supersede the job expectations, make money, and go home. Stay on your p’s & was when it comes to your job performance. Have a direct account of everything you do just in case a time comes where you may need it. Do not...I repeat....do not get involved with any female in the workplace BUT if you do, save all conversations you have with her and do not necessarily be too involved with her (e.g. hanging out in her cubicle for long periods, lunches everyday, etc). Establish the rules of engagement in your interactions and inform her in what you’re going to tolerate and not tolerate. Basically, if you’re going to do anything with her, do it outside of the workplace and keep records....because these females today can flip the switch on a dime. Just stand up and act accordingly, as a man should.

Yes sir COJ, you're correct. Being an Entrepreneur is the best way. It's the best thing I ever did also brother. It gives me the ability to either succeed or even fail on my own terms, don't have to deal with a drunk , envious and insecure Supervisor watching over my shoulder. No Salary restrictions either. Also , when I worked in Corporate America I was an Auditor. Auditing Human Resources was part of my job. Man, I was shocked to see all the Confidential medical info on some employees. Mental Illness prescriptions for plenty of employees, Managers and Executives with DUI's and domestic abuse cases . VP's and Mid Level Managers wage garnishments. A couple of Mid-level were barely taking home more money than our mail room guy . I'm sure you know, that world is a real jungle.
