Nick Cannon forgot who he works for. He put on his hoodie, his X glasses and read a couple books, thinking he was now a woke internet revolutionary. That worked until he started throwing down the J word. Then the roof collapsed, as he was reminded who runs the show. As we have seen, if you want to know who's running things for real, look at who you can't criticize.

This video definitely speaks to me brotha. For me, I'm currently working in corporate America and have a side hustle that I'm looking to turn into full-time. The only thing is that I'm still trying to get my side hustle going to the point where I can eventually do it full-time yet it's taking more time than I expected. In all honesty, I'm starting to think I may need to take that leap sooner rather than later. I'm just hoping I have enough stability to fall back on.

One of my closest friends a very smart brother, doesn’t get the concept that black folks should focus on creating their own businesses and building commerce among each other. His excuse as to why black folks cant recreate black Wall Street or recreate that same mentality is “America will always destroy it, so there’s no point in doing so.” When I bring up the success of other races of people despite their challenges he says, “they had help from the government that is why they are successful.” And guess what, he brings up slavery as another excuse. It always excuse after excuse to justify why black folks aren’t doing better.

One thing COJ stated "Corporate america is so toxic", with female energy. It really is, managers hire and fire people based off of how they "feel" about that person and how well they'll mesh with the team and environment, when it really should be based off of who is the most qualified due to their skills.

Brothers I just turned 41 in August and it is finally hitting that I've wasted years of my life looking for something that was truly right under my nose. All of this time I've been looking for the next great thing and holding on to corporate America at the same time. Brothers I now realize that our gift brings peace and serenity to our lives. Our gift gives us meaning and purposes us with something to look forward to being great at every single day. As COJ has put it before, I took my gift and shelved it in the nether regions of my soul. I know that it's a gift truly from TMH because every time I pick it up, I find that I have gotten better at it. This is without putting the time and effort into it to maximize my gift. I have 3 college degrees, and my last one was in Sport Management with a concentration in Athletic Administration. I interned and was later hired by a major Southeastern Conference school, only to be laid off 5 months after I was hired! Looking back, the things I endured there... I don’t regret my experience... but man I really got to see how Caucasians and house negroes really view a free thinking so called black man. After leaving there I worked at my Undergraduate Alma mater (an HBCU), and was even given empty promises by my own people while there. I have not pursued a career in that field ever, and when I was an educator, I faced the same type of shit because I didn’t adhere to the construct of that profession, nor did I fraternize with the women there. Since then my original business failed due to this Plandemic, but that was a good thing, because now I have been called for a bigger purpose and calling (due in part to this platform and your YouTube channel), and I’m really going to go after my passion no matter what this go round. What you said in this video, are the same things Master P. went through and did before his No Limit Record label became an over $500+ million dollar success. This was your best video (next to the Kevin Hart video that was banned by YouTube), and your most inspirational video I had the privilege to view! Thanks brotha, this is wroth watching 10X over! That was truly one hell of a video. I know this was Vol. 2 of the protect your passion series, but this video needs a spinoff series... so called black man leave corporate America, something like that. Love all the videos that came out this month but this one right here was truly on point and the fact that Judge Mathis cosigned your review. I've never moved up in any company I've worked for as far as management positions, don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Looking to go back to school and pursue my goals, but some say there's no point in going back to school because America is about to be under Martial law and we won't be able to do anything without proof of a Vaccine. We'll see what happens though.
