KD’s play makes him a very, very elite player because he can play in any system and not take away from other great players in a system. Also on the Nets, you have two of the most clutch players in the league on one team. So in a crucial moment, you have two players that have shown in tight moments (on the game’s greatest stage) that they can win the game on a last second shot with consistency. As long as they’re winning, both of these sensitive players will be aight in terms of the media. AFTER KD’s first full season back from his Achilles’ heel injury, then I will judge KD from there. But I see 3 titles for KD in Brooklyn.

It was Michael Jordan who said that when it is all said and done, Kevin Durant will come in through the backdoor, and be the greatest player to play the game (if there is a player that could take that mantle from Jordan). I personally felt that when KD won his first MVP over LeBron some years back, that he had surpassed LeBron as the best player in the NBA. KD can play in ANY SYSTEM, and not take away from the production of other players on the team unlike a LeBron James. I think if the Nets can find a stable player at the Center position, and get some defenders that cover for Kyrie, who wouldn’t guard a housefly if you gave him a fly swatter... KD could lead this team to at least 3 titles. But on the flip side... one would have to ask OKC, how’d it work out for them giving Russell Westbrook $200 million?
