I know three dudes whose nigga pride got the best of them and now they're dead all died last year, one of them cost his mother her life and her business over nigga pride. A whole gang war and more niggas are dying now this year as retaliation for all this too.

No telling what became of those dudes. I had a similar experience in my mid 20’s. This was 19 years ago. I saw the dude on the train last yearand he saw me but held is head down. Not sure why....

"Nigga Pride" is definitely real, it's unfortunate that so many brothas have fallen victim to it before. It really just comes down to one's energy, you're either positive or negative. Not worth it carrying all the baggage. But there have been times where The Most High has protected me at the last second: Back in the summer of 2016, I had just finished a shift at 2AM and was on my way home when I was waiting at the bus stop which was about a 5 minute ride from my street. It was weird cause the bus app told me that the bus would be there at that specific time but it wasn't (around 3AM, of course). Next thing you know, I see this suspicious looking brotha from a distance staring at me and walking in my direction. I was getting ready to fight but that same bus that wasn't there eventually appeared right as he got near me. When I was in the bus, I was staring at him through the window and he looked like a demon, staring right back before the bus drove off. The Lord was with me that day, who knows what could've happened or what he had on him.

Glad you are safe. Some dudes are just looking for trouble and do not recognize they have anything to live for (and love for).

I've been through a "nigga pride" situation that prevented a lot of dumb stuff before. I remember years ago I went to the beach and drove around about 15 minutes looking for a parking space. A space finally became available to me, and this dude aggresively honked his horn, yelled at me, and said "No! F... that! I'm taking that!" I was by myself. He had a car full of so-called black dudes with him, so I just gave the space to him and kept driving around. About 5 minutes later, I found another parking space. My decision to not let "nigga pride" get the best of me saved me from potential trouble. No telling what those dudes had on them or what would have happened had I took that parking sapce. "It's not worth it black man!"

I agree one million percent about not going to these Sanctuaries called "Stadiums". Watch the games at home brothers. Quick story. My Pops took me to a Patriots game back in 02'. The Pat's were playing the Dolphins. Pops and I were the only black people in a sea of crackas. These dudes were cussing, screaming, drunk, rowdy, just awful people. I was completely taken aback by their behavior. They didnt even have regard for their own. This white Dude and his son were Dolphin fans sitting below us. A dude behind us throw a beer bottle at the kid, he couldn't have been no more then 8. His pops was furious and wanted to fight the dude who throw it. Kid you not Pops was like we out at halftime LMAO. He didn't trip since he got the tickets for free but I'm like we drove all the way here mines well stay. But his judgment was correct.

True story; back when I was living in NYC I dated a girl from Atlanta who’s best friend was a Atlanta hawks cheerleader. She was texting my girl all night long about how she hooked up with Trae Songz.....cheated on her husband for a one night stand with Trae Songz. Even sent pictures from his hotel. I was disgusted, my girl was giggling and chatting about the details all night. Didn’t even know the chick or the poor husband but I had that angry lump in the throat you get when you ready to fight.
