Stellaris Invicta: How Shall the GTU Navigate the End Times?
Added 2019-02-17 01:23:53 +0000 UTC
The Greater Terran Union has finally struck back against the Awakened Empires in the War in Heaven. What began as a simple reconnaissance maneuver has spiralled into a major offensive against the Xani Restorers. Most of their fleets have been destroyed and the way to their core worlds lies open. But an even greater threat has just arrived. Across the galaxy, a rift to a terrifying alternate plane of existence has opened, and extradimensional invaders are now poised to bring death and ruin to the entire galaxy.
The one bright spot is that these “Unbidden” have arrived directly in the path of the Jaz-Gavaz Peacekeepers. If these two powers clash, then the Union might be given enough time strike at whichever threat seems greatest at a moment of their own making. The Greater Terran Union stands at the greatest crossroads it has ever faced: which threat to deal with first?
Operation Heaven’s Light Our Guide: The Awakened Empires remain the greatest threat. We must push deeper into the territories of the Xani, seize their worlds and use their advanced foundries and technology to stop the unrelenting crusade of the Jaz-Gavaz. Once these two ancient threats are silenced, only then should we strike against the Unbidden.
Operation Fulcrum: The Unbidden dwarf any danger our galaxy has yet encountered. We must withdraw from any further conquests and plan a single decisive strike to remove them from our dimension.
Operation Tightrope: It remains to be seen how the Jaz-Gavaz will fare against the Unbidden. We should seize the resources and industrial potential of the Xani and use them to reinforce our strength. Once we have determined which power is the greater danger, we can move against it in force

The way I see it the most direct and the most practical solution is to finish as quickly as possible the restorers and then we direct our attention to the unbidden.

2019-02-20 17:13:00 +0000 UTCcan't. Any galactic crisis; Unbidden, Scourge, Contingent are at war with everyone. so being friends is not able to be done.

2019-02-19 18:57:58 +0000 UTCWhile operation tightrope is the most reasonable option, we must not forget that the unbidden have also struck into Florian territory. I care not about the Florian's fate, but should the unbidden strike deep enough they may eventually come across an L gate, which would lead them right into Terran space. Something must be done before that can happen.

2019-02-17 15:41:37 +0000 UTCLet our enemies waste their strength fighting one another. Whatever remains when the dust settles will be easy prey.

2019-02-17 04:52:10 +0000 UTCGreeting once again my fellow heads of state. We have reconvened once more to discuss the fate of our nation and now, quite possibly the whole galaxy. The facts are laid before us that will be the final nail in the coffin of do many. These "Awakened Empires are abundant in resources and technology, a grand jewel to add to our union. Like all jewels there are thieves who want it for themselves. The Awakened or "younger" nation would make a run for these territories and the highly sought auto-alloy foundries. Then we have the Unbidden, a alien to this dimension. Their antimatter weapons destroy everything and will devour all like. We could continue to push into these ancient empire and take all and loose many human lives, or we pull back and engage the threat to all live. Then there's the quite realistic "tightrope" for us to walk. The answer is clear... we must enact Operation Tightrope. We must take what we can to boost our ability for war. Once one other other of these threats are weakened or destroyed them we crush them both. Thank you and my Earth and her colonies prevail thought this crisis!

2019-02-17 02:46:55 +0000 UTCWe might be able to make new friends with the Unbidden.

2019-02-17 01:49:18 +0000 UTC" Operation Tightrope" is the intelegend option. We finish the job with the Xani and we study the unknown enemy how will, if all goes well, fight our enemies if left alone.
