yeah i just think in the case of gp jr. it was simply too much of a good thing of course you had the core three you had to bring back then of course jordan poole's continued assendance has made him a piece you'll want to keep then their are the young guys wiseman, moody, and kuminga who they have to bring along and try to get minutes for as they prepare them to takeover once steph and those guys age out that is already 7 roster spots and that's not even including guys like otto porter or looney and as good as gary peyton jr. was big men role players will almost always be a bit more intrinsically valuable that guard/ little man role players i think the warriors look at it like this we got these young guys who really wasnt to start giving real minutes to we got klay who presumabley can aproximate at most about 80% of what he was on defense at his best as good as gp jr. is they may have felt he was a bit redundant

Small market teams don't have a hiGh ratio of Winnin Finals appearances let alone makin it to that staGe.
