No JJ, Robert Parish was not with the Celtics when Bird got drafted there, he was playing for Golden State Warriors. Parish was traded to Boston for the 1st overall pick which the Celtics became the third pick overall in drafting Kevin McHale which was Bird's second season. Get it right JJ, even though he did stated that he's not a basketball historian.
