Congratulations to FAA Graduates!

We at The FAA Collective congratulate a new class of graduates from the full-time painting certificate program at The Florence Academy of Art!

These artists persevered and completed their studies in painting during extremely difficult circumstances! Throughout the year of Covid, each worked with special determination to bring their paintings to completion.. circumstances in the studio required strict adherence to safety protocols, and the 10 pm curfew in Florence throughout the winter tested even the most serious of students! They prevailed, and their work is a tribute to the stamina and dedication. We appreciate each and every one of them, and wish them great success in their future careers!

Graduates in Residence 2020-2021: A year of specialization at the Florence campus

Each year 5 graduates - 3 from the Painting Program and 2 from Sculpture - are invited to take up residency at the Florence campus to work on personal projects and to transition from student to professional artist. These highly sought positions allow graduates to continue their studies, work in our state-of-the-art facilities, and gain valuable experience teaching their craft to a new generation of students as Graduates in Residence.

This year, Hannah Sutton, Laura Wenmaekers, Cassidy Boyuk, Jana Büttner and Sandeep Krishnan have created some incredible works in the first phase of their careers post-graduation, and we are delighted to share artworks by each with you below.
