We use Google AdSense on polyhaven.com. To hide these ads, simply follow these steps:
1. Log in to the site.
2. Go to your account page.
3. Under the "No Ads" header, turn the switch on.
If you ever change browsers, devices, or flush your cache & cookies, you'll need to do this again.

That's a good idea :) Right now if you're logged into the site, it shouldn't show the post-download message, but I understand you'll be logged out automatically after a few days so this isn't really a solution. I'll see if I can get it to stick permanently after you've logged in at least once...

I mean your website, the domain name, the ssl certification for security purposes, and not to mention storage space for the great content. I'm not sure what google charges for advertisement credits to other companies.

2020-06-18 11:08:57 +0000 UTCPS: The code simply hides the ads themselves, it doesn't prevent any AdSense code from being loaded, so if you're concerned about Google following you around the internet for personalized ad targeting, you should be using an ad-blocker.
