Axu2, the Fire Update Teasers

This is a collection of teasers for the Axugaem2 Fire Update, first released on May 3rd, 2020. The original descriptions for each individual teaser are below.

Flashdancer:
Once servants of the vicious Fire Lord Aros, the denizens of his now-abandoned temple have remained untouched by the passage of time, and wander the crumbling halls with the same vigour they displayed before the Lord himself in times of old.

Fire Knight:
The Elemental Kingdom of Fire is a chaotic mass of aggressive factions held together through the sheer will of Lord Charon and his capable Knights. The Fire Knights themselves answer only to Lord Charon and his outspoken General, Caldryn. With Charon's blessing, a small division of these deadly but loyal knights have journeyed with Caldryn to the distant shores of Blightwood, where they are engaged in a battle to free the sickly forest from its deep-rooted suffering...

The Angelic Guard:
The forested isle once known as Brightwood sits across the ocean from the former Fire Elemental territories of Mount Tabula and Spire. The once healthy forest has long since succumbed to a cancerous corruption of unknown cause, and its protectors, the angels, scramble to stem the flow of disease that affects not only the forest, but all life within.... All life, that is, except for the angels themselves. Exemplars of Light's purity and discipline, the angels of what is now known as Blightwood serve the breathtaking Archangel Gloriana, and pursue vindictively any visitors who would seek to undermine their right to watch over the isle.

The Vampires:
Once either residents or travelers throughout Blightwood, the region's Vampires are mad killers desperate for blood. With it, they can halt the effects of the mysterious blight upon them and become a deadly coordinated mass. Without it, they deteriorate and become grotesque, gibbering parodies of their former selves. If a vampire starves long enough, it will pass the point of no return and lose its mind completely, existing only to kill and feed. The angels avoid the vampires, believing that by starving them, they will eliminate the threat, but lately the fiends have become a much more organized threat. They gather in the ruined town of Rotwald, and serve an unknown master...

Charon, Lord of Flames:
Once an esteemed General under the infamous first Fire Lord Aros, Charon gained his own brand of infamy upon collaborating with Lady Elarel of the Depths to end Aros' violent reign by dooming him to the confines of Elarel's magically reinforced stomach. Though Lady Elarel has never lost the swollen belly that marks her devouring of Aros, Charon has since moved on and become the ruler of the Elemental Kingdom of Fire, which he protects zealously against corruption both internal and external. Though he is known for his explosive temper and difficult nature, he has earned the respect of the majority of his kingdom, and the respectful caution of everyone else.

Imperial Widow:
The deadliest and most reclusive of Imperium's non-humanoid spiders dwell in the deepest recesses of the darkest places and seem to draw other spiders to their nests, which can make them a genuine danger in places that are not vigilantly maintained by their residents. The widows of Blightwood are all the deadlier thanks to the corruption that has twisted their sprawling lair: The Devil's Nest. All spiders here work in the defense of their matriarch, the infamously hideous Bloodwidow, whose fury and venom have claimed the lives of angels, vampires, and everything in between.
