According to scholars of Necromantic History, there is evidence of Lupita's age in how she was constructed - using the now-archaic 'Spinal Wrap' technique favoured several centuries ago by Imperium's first necromancers. Also of note is the use of a glowing red ink referred to by ancient necromancers as 'Ma'Marro's Blood', in reference to a mostly-forgotten nature elemental general from so far prior to Recorded History that only a handful of such references to it still exist. Similarly, the secret behind Ma'Marro's blood has also been lost to history, with all attempts to replicate it over the centuries having failed, and only a few bone golems remain in existence who bear the strange ink. The Witch Doctor Skazili is another such bone golem, and thus rumours have long swirled of some sort of relation between him and Lupita, though neither of the two have ever commented on the matter. More vexingly still, because of how bone golems are made and used, none remember their first few years of existence, and so, by Lupita's account, she knows nothing of the significance of her unusual ink markings nor the people who marked her with them, leaving that early chapter of Necromantic History almost tauntingly bare...
