I hope y'all get around to watching Gremlins 2. Emily if you thought this one was crazy Gremlins 2 is absolutely batshit insane.
One other thing to note, when Billy is in the tavern showing off his drawing of Mrs. Deagle to the guy at the bar, that guy is Chuck Jones of Looney Tunes, and in one of the classic Bugs Bunny cartoons that Chuck Jones did Bugs has to go up against a gremlin making trouble in the airplane Bugs is flying.
