I really loved these episodes. So often yall talk about movies that are amazing, which is fun and so engaging. But I feel like this series taught me so much about what mistakes look like and how to watch for them, which is also a really valuable skill.

2021-11-28 00:15:27 +0000 UTCMy small criticism for this series that I haven't noticed as much in your other podcasts is that because the show is happening live, it seems like all of your negative opinions are feeding off each other and so everyone is parroting the same negativity around and the whole experience of listening was a bit one-note. Compared to something like the main feed with "There Will Be Blood" where you all came to the movie at different times in your life, had different experiences rewatching, or never saw it at all. That is the type of conflict that generates interesting conversations. I realize part of this is just the nature of live reviewing, but I also don't know if that served the team well this go around. I think it would have been interesting to compare what would have happened if you had all waited to podcast each episode until after the entire 10 episode arc.
