Question: Danny Boyle and Alex Garland have both said Apocalypse Now is one of their favorite movies, with Alex Garland going as far to say it's one of his very favorites despite the Kurtz stuff not working for him, and both said that movie was a touchpoint for them on their collaborations together. Does that inform how you view 28 Days Later, and Sunshine if you're familiar with it?

(I'm actually in Oslo right now for night two, but about to go to bed because I have a very early flight out in the morning). Next trip to Norway I'll plan better! 2022-09-24 01:05:03 +0000 UTCThe characters in this are forced to take such extreme, violent action toward each other at the drop of a hat - I've always liked how the theme of trust/distrust drives characters' choices so strongly in 28 Days Later.
