When writing new stories, what are each of your processes? I’m sure it varies depending on the material, but do any of you find it easier to write in a linear fashion, maybe have a character and personality idea and see how they would react when certain situations present themselves, or rather just start with a few conversation scenes and set pieces and spider out of there, etc?

Whats your favorite book/story/novel that you’d love to adapt into a screenplay?

Hey All...When adapting a screenplay from an existing property or IP, what are some of the pros and cons? Do you find it hard to work inside of a created box, or do you try to inject some of your own fresh ideas/perspectives/sensibilities?
