Hi Suzy ! Believe it or not , the Lord of the Rings trilogy had a strong romantic theme between Aragorn and Arwen throughout each movie.

Some of my favorite fantasy/Sci-Fi movies with a touch of Romance and Action are: Shape of Water, Big Fish, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Princess Bride, Stardust, Blade Runner, Never Ending Story, Hellboy, Pans Labyrinth, The Life Aquatic, Fifth Element, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissor Hands, Willow, Highlander, Ex Machina, Under the Skin, Lucy, Species, Excalibur, Lady Hawk.
