So last year I got my first adult home with a bug beautiful barn and 3 acre pasture and a little training arena. I lost it after 10 months of pure heaven living there. I spent over $50,000 on the horses last year.. I actually have to keep records and add that shit up as non-profits have to keep meticulous financial records, so prepping taxes recently I was shocked to see what my costs vs. Income actually were. So.. for this reason I lost my downtown shop last October, then my ranch, but I got a golden opportunity to save money, keep the horses fed and healthy, and move to a ranch in the redwoods. The catch being that I had to buy a mobile home, ok I'll be honest is straight up a trailer... yup. This has been a very difficult adjustment for me, as I used to have a walk in closet, a shop, then a big home studio, a barn, an arena... Moving here, I also had no place to work and no fencing or shelter for the horses. I have built the fencing, bought the shelter materials (thanks to your kind support, pledges and donations!). I am finally back to dancing and selling vintage after finding an old unfinished wood shed that I myself installed insulation, sheetrock, mudded, painted and carpeted and turned into the studio you see me dancing in now. Surprise, is only 7 feet by 12 feet. On the opposite side is my sewing machine and shelving to store dresses and fabric. I also built two metal tuffshed, one for the horse feed and tack and one for storing dresses and fabric. It's been a long, laborious setup and I often wished I knew how to give up and just be normal. My family begged me to stop the rescue and get rid of the horses. I thought I would never get the money to buy new dresses to sell and my business was over.. Your support here turned that all around and I just want to say thank you so so so much for helping me keep it together and get situated here. Im grateful for what I have and ready to rebuild!

My little contribution is worth seeing those beautiful horses be happy and you see your dreams fulfilled.

What you're doing is your dream, don't let anyone talk you out of it. Do you know how many people never get to do what they really want to do? You are the most perfect person to be where you are right now. Damn what anyone else thinks, it's not their dream. Much love, beautiful
