So yesterday and the day before I labored tirelessly yanking fallen trees and brush and debris from our creek bed which meanders for a quarter mile through the center of our property. The creek was blocked and never saw the sun, the perfect evil breeding grounds for the worst creatures on earth... mosquitoes.. Of course me being delicious, they ate up my legs and butt and even one got through to my pussy! Wtf.. The weirder thing is that I was wearing long pants, but I was in only a sports bra up top and I only got bit through my pants! Well we opened up there flow of the creek sho the trout and salmon can get through to the river again and taking down many giant old rotten and broken hazzard trees let in the sunlight! The creek is flowing and the mosquito swarms dissipating! I still have like 100ft of creekbed to clear next weekend, but oh my goodness, this place is becoming an enchanted fairytale land! We hope to host weddings here in the future, which will further support Heart of Gold Sanctuary, my horse rescue.
