안녕하세요. 모나임입니다. 오랫만에 글을 올리게 되네요. 일단 먼저 말씀드려야 하는건 작업은 거의 다 되었으나... 텍스트작업과 몇몇 의상 레이어작업이 아직 다 끝나지 않았습니다. 원래 업로드를 이번주 주말로 예상했는데 좀만 더 시간이 필요할 듯 합니다. 글을 올리는게 늦은 이유는... 정말 주말까지 업로드를 끝내고 싶었습니다. 아무리 상태가 안좋다고 하더라도 10일정도면 끝낼수 있을줄 알았어요.

반드시 완성을 해서 올려드리고 싶었는데 몸상태가 안좋아서 작업효율이 상당히 떨어져있는 상태라 예상과 다르게 진척속도가 많이 느리네요. 죄송합니다. 며칠내로 확실히 끝내오겠습니다...

It's been a while since I last posted.
First of all, I want to let you know that the project is almost done... but the text work and a few costume layers are still unfinished. I originally planned to upload everything this weekend, but it seems I’ll need a bit more time.

The reason I didn’t post sooner is... I really wanted to finish and upload everything by the weekend. Even though I wasn’t feeling well, I thought ten days would be enough to complete it.

I truly wanted to finish and share it with you all, but due to my poor physical condition, my work efficiency has dropped significantly, and things are progressing much slower than expected. I’m very sorry about that. I promise to finish it properly within a few days.

마지막 파이즈리는 정면얼굴이 너무 잘뽑혀서... 그냥 대충 가져다 붙여봤습니다. 더미파일입니다.
옆모습은 저번에 보여드리지 못했던 파일입니다.

As for the final Paizuri image — the front-facing face came out so well that... I just slapped it on there for now. It’s a dummy file. The side profile is one I hadn’t shown you before.

저번에 댓글로 어떤분께서 교배프레스를 기대하셨다고 코멘트를 남겨주셨어서... 작업하던 남은 리소스에 얼추 붙여봤습니다. 자주 보이던 표준형 자세네요... 이것도 역시 더미파일입니다. 보상에는 포함되지만 1티어를 뽑을때는 쓰이지 않을것입니다.

Someone commented last time that they were looking forward to the “mating press” pose, so I roughly attached it using the remaining resources I had been working on. It’s a pretty standard pose you often see... This is also just a dummy file. It will be included as a bonus, but not used when drawing the 1st tier.

예전에 보여드렸던 파일인데... 병원에 있었어서 장시간 못봤다가 봤더니, 너무 별로여서 두번 갈아엎고 새로 그렸습니다. 사실 이걸 새로 그리는 과정이 없었다면 이미 마무리가 되었겠지만, 지금보니 새로그린게 역시 훨씬 낫다는 생각이 드네요.

얼른 작업해오도록 하겠습니다. 늦어서 죄송합니다.

그리고 다음달 작업물 투표도 해야하긴 하는데... 어떨지 모르겠네요. 작업을 할수 있을지. 투표를 하더라도 패러메딕이 압도적 1등일거라고 예상되긴 하지만요.

This is a file I had shown before… but I was in the hospital and didn’t look at it for a long time. When I finally did, it looked terrible, so I scrapped it twice and redrew it from scratch. Honestly, if I hadn’t spent time redrawing that part, everything would’ve been done by now. But looking at it now, I definitely feel that the redrawn version is much better.

I’ll hurry and get everything finished. I sincerely apologize for the delay.

Also, I need to do a vote for next month’s work... but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to manage it. Even if I do set up the vote, I’m guessing Paramedic will win by a landslide.

여담으로 현재 수술은 잘 끝났지만, 수치가 전반적으로 안좋아서 추가적인 치료를 받고있는 상태입니다. 결국 숫자는 3까지밖에 세지 못했습니다... 순식간에 끝나버렸어요. 손바닥으로 파도를 막으려는게 무슨 느낌인지 확실히 알게되었습니다.

그리고 환부는 2개, 2센치정도 뚫었는데... 예전부터 이런 상처에 대해서 통증이 어느정도일지 개인적으로 궁금했었거든요. 영화보면 주인공들 총맞고도 잘만 움직이잖아요...? 관통상인데도. 그런 고통이 노력만으로 극복이 가능할까? 하는 생각이 내심 있었습니다. 그래서 좀 이상한 말이지만, 고통이 어떤느낌일지 궁금했어서 내심 기대를(?) 했었는데요.

존윅 1에서 주인공이 복부에 총상을 입고 의사한테 치료받을때, 마취제 필요하냐는 질문에 손에 들고있던 버번을 보여주면서 "그건 이미 해결된 것 같네요." 라는 대사를 하는 장면이 있거든요. 그걸 보면서 와 뭔가 멋있다. 나도 한번 흉내내봐야지. 라고 생각했었어요. 뚫은거니까 관통상 비스므리하긴 하잖아요. 물론 총탄의 파괴력을 받지는 않았지만요.

막상 뚫려보니... 아니네요. 많이 아프네...

On a side note, the surgery went well, but since my overall numbers weren’t good, I’m undergoing additional treatment.
In the end, I could only count to 3... and it was over in an instant.
I now clearly understand what it feels like to try to stop a wave with your bare hands.

They punctured two spots about 2cm each.
I had always been personally curious about what kind of pain injuries like this would cause. You know how in movies, main characters get shot and still move around just fine? Even with a through-and-through wound. I used to wonder, “Is that kind of pain really something you can overcome with just willpower?”

So, this might sound weird, but I was somewhat curious about how the pain would feel — I was kind of looking forward to it, in a way.

There’s this scene in John Wick 1 where he gets shot in the abdomen and receives treatment. The doctor asks if he wants anesthetic, and he just shows the bourbon in his hand and says,
“I think I’ve already taken care of that.”
I remember watching that and thinking, “Whoa, that’s so cool. I wanna try doing something like that one day.”

Since I got punctured, I thought it was sort of like a through wound. Of course, it wasn’t caused by a bullet or anything destructive like that...

But now that I’ve been punctured for real... Nope. It really hurts. A lot.
