June Remakery: Isabelle & The Pussycats!

I also tried a few new things with my setup for the Isabelle piece (not that it's very noticeable here), maybe I'll give it another shot in the future for a somewhat more sophisticated approach to shading.

2023-06-09 17:33:55 +0000 UTCThe old version is what put me on a lot of MHA fans' radars, so it makes sense that I'd be fighting an uphill battle remaking it. Though, I guess the same could be said about why it so handily won the Patreon vote lol. Regardless, I decided to take an shot at bringing it up to a level of quality that demonstrates my current strengths and techniques, which unfortunately meant cleaning up a lot of that old sketchy charm into something more tidy, but hopefully also better to make visual sense of. Also, the old version didn't have Mineta in it, so can I understand being repulsed by that, haha
2023-06-09 04:09:03 +0000 UTCLowkey think I prefer the original Izuku/Tomoko one. Just adore the messiness and sketchiness of it, and the touch of the characters being one singular color shade is really neat. Then again, that whole comic IS what got me into your art so maybe I'm biased? XD
