A sneak peak at the new piano that I've mentioned in the last two posts. It finally arrived this week!
This is a Yamaha NU1XA that I've been saving up for, after having the same old Yamaha P-115 for 10 years. It's not an acoustic model, nor is it an electric one. It's a hybrid! As you can see in one of the pictures I included, it has more or less all the mechanics of an acoustic inside. But the sound is electronically produced, via VST. This allows the player to experience the action and feel of an acoustic, while enjoying the benefits of an electric piano at the same time, such as using headphones and MIDI. I highly recommend trying one out if you haven't. No matter how much you spend on an electric, I can't help but get that "plastic" feeling when I press a key. So in the end, it was between this one and the Kawai NV5 (also a hybrid).
I can't wait to start producing new covers for you guys with this piano <3 Thanks so much for the support!!! I'm excited to share more pictures of the office as well, since it's finally coming together.
