A movie about a fish-human hybrid creature who dreams of something more above the surface and...no, not that one either. The one set in Italy where the fish-kid wants to be an astronaut or something and everyone may or may not be gay. 2022-08-13 04:57:54 +0000 UTCBoth Luca and Turning Red have shown that the younger artists at Pixar (those NOT part of John Lasseter's "Brain Trust") are ready to step up and take the mantle. Especially when you compare it to the utter mediocrity that was Lightyear. Given time, I think Pete Docter will have established a solid foundation for younger artists (hopefully many of them BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Asian, women, etc) to have their voice heard and their stories told (let them be good ones at that!)
