modifying tier rewards

**bolded and italicized phrases to aid in ease of skimming moreso than for emphasis.** hey everybody. most of the content of this post will involve the $5 and $15 tiers.i am posting this today and tomorrow if you'd like to drop or edit your patronage accordingly, you can do so before you are charged.

i've noticed and i haven't had the energy/time/mental health to put a lot of time into the rewards for the $5 tiers. i do my best to at least do a little bit, but in the end, i feel it's probably dissatisfying. 7 months ago, i was easily able to handle the output of my comic work plus sketching smaller things every day. i don't know  if it's the environment i'm in now, the pressure of being the breadwinner (for lack of a better term) now, the fact that the art in-comic has been becoming more detailed (and hence, more time-consuming now), just a very long depressive episode, but regardless of any of it, i have to admit to myself that the current ideal of making something daily in addition to the work on comics and commissions isn't feasible right now.maybe in the future. but for now the stress of disappointing people just de-motivates me.

SO. onto the juicy stuff: what do i want to change about the rewards then?i'd like to move the reward to vote for what the $15 tier comics will be about  to the $5 tier. this means that everyone in the bottom tier and up will be able to vote on the choices i usually give the $15 tier free reign over, but still only 15ers will see the comics a month early before public release.i think this gives the $5 patrons more of a feeling of participation, because what they vote on will be guaranteed (and in general i have noticed people are more enthusiastic about voting for story options than what i tend to put in the beginning-of-the-month posts anyways), while still maintaining the integrity of the most valuable part of the $15 reward tier.

i am also thinking of changing streams to weekly instead of bi-weekly, but for now they will remain once every 2 weeks.streams seem to be gaining more interest in general, and i generally have a fun time, so i will keep you all updated on that as i try to organize my work schedule into something more strict.

conversely, i might not post suggestions/choices to vote on every month anymore, the patreon comics will still be something to vote on monthly(-ish).
about the $15 tier though... i believe everyone in them, the last time i checked, is someone i talk to outside of patreon as well, but just in case: the comics for $15+ tiers might not be "monthly" anymore, per se.this sounds worse than it is (imo). what i mean is sometimes comics will bleed into the next month if they prove to be extra long. i will still be posting the same amount of updates every month.as you can see, this month's comic has updated with the same amount of as the june comic did. i will actually be uploading one more page tomorrow for it. but because i thought of a better way to tie it in, it'll continue running for about 2 weeks into august. i think it would be better for me and the quality of these comics if i didn't worry about being able to fit it exactly into one month. some of them just end up needing more time than others. i will still try to fit them into monthly schedules as best as i can.

i think those are the most important points. if you have any complaints about these changes but want to remain a patron, please let me know. i am dedicated to trying to make everyone happy w/what they get out of this.and if you have any suggestions for what would make your tier more rewarding, please also let me know. thanks for your patience.i have only had this up for 2 months, and i'm still trying to figure out  what i can handle.
