sugar: god, why do you like me??
lola:
lola: i, ha-hate myself, that's why.
sugar:
sugar: so i'm. because i'm bad for you.
lola: no...
lola: we're opposites. i hate everything about me, but you, i.
lola:
lola: everything i hate about me, is everything you aren't.
that's as far as the scene got before i decided this wouldn't be a scene with a question.

The editing choice reminds me of when I can think of two things I want to say equally, and I have to choose one knowing that I have to give up the other, and the conversation, the future that choice would have created. I wonder if Lola will think about it this way also.
