"A/N: the word “lierons” in panel 3 is french.
for those who don’t speak french: it is from “lier”, which is the verb root of a word you may be more familiar with: liaison. it is pronounced “lee-ey-rowe” with a very slight, gentle nasal “n” sound at the end, able to be manipulated into a soft rhyme with “done” and “fun”. the “s” at the end is silent.
for those who speak french: what lola said may seem a bit nonsensical or confusing, since she used future tense. she remembered the original root verb, and the conjugation ending for “we”, and tried to put 2 and 2 together, unaware this was inaccurate. this is intentional. "
