there are a few idioms on this page.
"frisson" is referring back to page 89. although frisson refers to a shiver or goosebumps from a surge of (usually pleasant) emotion, lola uses it a little differently due to her own personal connotations of the word and how she conceptualizes pleasure.
"quid pro quo" is a latin phrase usually referring to equal exchange of goods or labor, mostly in political contexts. she's essentially asking "can i get that tit for tat?" (which was the first iteration of the line in the script). quid pro quo is also the name of a question-asking game where you may only ask someone a question once you've answered one.
"chew the fat" is a phrase that means the same thing as "shoot the breeze"; sugar is saying "go ahead, we're just killing time anyways". the idiom is primarily used in rural areas, but i feel like it would be common among carnivores, along with other visceral idioms like "something i can sink my teeth into" or "blood is thicker than water".
that said, religion talk will be kept short in this comic; it won't be a debate of any sort. i felt it was important to include given the premise of the story, though.
